Being engaged in our city and serving our surrounding community are a vital part of what it means for us to be 21st century followers of Christ. At our baptism we promise to “seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving our neighbors as ourselves” and to “strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being.”

As agents of positive change and life-giving transformation, we are called to be partners in God’s mission of healing and reconciling what is broken inside us and around us, in our city of Baltimore. Areas of special focus and commitment include: advocacy, clothing, education, health & healing/nutrition, and housing.
