Alan Choo presents Flights of Fancy

The concert will feature pieces from the newly released album, “Mystery Sonatas,” with
Alan Choo & members of Apollo’s Fire.

Alan Choo has established himself on the global stage as a leading soloist, chamber musician and historical specialist. He is Concertmaster and Assistant Artistic Director of Apollo’s Fire, the Grammy Award-winning baroque orchestra in the United States. He is also Founder and Artistic Director of Red Dot Baroque,
Singapore’s first professional period ensemble, which has been recently named Ensemble-in-Residence at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music. This April concert will feature stunning instrumental repertoire from the German-speaking lands in the 17th century. Works by Biber, Schmelzer and Froberger.
